Our mortgage products are marketed by professional Business Development Managers and supported by an experienced underwriting team.  Our combined delivery of service, efficiency, and competitive rates has proven to be a strategy that has effectively established Bridgewater Bank as the lender of choice with may of Canada's top mortgage brokerage firms.

Bridgewater's license to operate as a federally chartered bank in Canada was granted January 1, 2006.  Planned enhancements under the new structure include the introduction of Guaranteed Investment Certificates (GIC's) and other banking products and services.

Loan Application Process

All loan applications are received electronically via Filogix Express™.  They are underwritten by a team of highly experienced mortgage professionals who provide accurate and consistent decisions to the brokers and borrowers.

Once the signed commitment letter has been returned to Bridgewater Bank, our team of Underwriting Administrators work with the broker and borrower to ensure that the necessary documentation is received as quickly as possible to provide timely funding of the mortgage.

The funding team works with the solicitor to complete the transaction in a timely fashion.
